Serie B Format
The teams in three places at the bottom are relegated to Serie C, while the teams in 16th and 17th compete in a relegation playoff. The top two sides are immediately promoted into Serie A, while the third team promoted is decided by the playoffs. This sees the teams that finish between third and eighth compete.
The three teams that are relegated from Serie A take the place of the teams that are promoted. In contrast, the three teams that have earned promotion in Serie C take the places of the relegated sides in Serie B. Team’s face each other twice throughout the season; once at home, and once away. Winning teams get three points, while a draw is worth one point.
Serie B prides itself on how competitive it is, and during its 88-year history, there have been several significant stories to take place in this division. The most notable of which, saw Juventus play in the division for one season in the 2006-07 campaign.

Relegation
At the opposite end of the table, teams will be fighting to stay in the division. Punters can lay their stake on the team that they believe will be relegated into Serie C. Punters will be awarded the returns for this bet when the confirmation of the relegated sides is official. It doesn’t matter where the selected team finish for this market, as long as they are relegated to Serie C the bet is a winner.

The most straightforward way to lay a bet on a Serie B fixture is by correctly predicting the team that will win the match. Punters would put their stake on either the home or away side, or the draw. The bet will be settled at the full-time whistle, with the bet being a winner should the punter have betted on the correct outcome.
Both Teams To Score

The punter will simply put their stake on yes or no, depending on whether they believe both teams will score in the match. If you stake yes, then both sides will need to score before the full-time whistle for the bet to be a winner.
