Excited for the big return? You should be because the NASCAR Cup Series resumes at Darlington Raceway on Sunday, May 17, and there are all the reasons to be interested in the event. The Darlington event will also bring various opportunities to place a bet and enjoy the real thing. Let’s have a quick look at who’s driving and what their odds of winning are.

Looking at the odds, Kyle Bush (+600) is again given the best chance to win. He’s been doing a good job at Darlington, there’s no doubt about that. He placed within the top ten racers each time he has raced at Darlington, bar once in 2016, when he slipped to 11th, but he has never actually finished first. Interestingly Busch has been able to lead in most of the laps at Darlington, but just not quite so able to seal a victory.

Do you want to bet on him? You might, but we recommend taking a look at the other viable picks down the odds. In fact, most racers are fairly evenly-priced, making for a somewhat challenging pick.

Brad Keselowski (+1000) seems like a rather long shot, for example, but the racer seems to take to Darlington well enough. Sure, in terms of overall performance across NASCAR’s other raceways, he might not be quite up there yet, but in his past two starts at Darlington, Keselowski placed 1st and 5th, which just goes to show.

The odds on him winning are rather long, we will grant you that, but he still makes for a decent pick. Another racer with a consistently good score has been Kevin Harvick (+750), and the odds seem to back him well enough.

He has won the race once in seven appearances and he has kept in the top 10 in the rest of the events. But apart from making a claim on the title, Harvick also believes that the race will be a “wake-up” call for the organization.
