Donald Trump Says the Season Will Start According to Schedule

President Donald Trump has made a conference call yesterday with commissioners of all the major sports competitions in the United States. According to ESPN, the US President said that he is optimistic about things getting back to normal.

The same source claims Trump has suggested the NFL season will start as planned, with fans in the stands. Apart from talking about football, President ahs also discussed other sports popular in this part of the world. Competitions like NBA, NHL, and MLS have been paused when the pandemic struck the United States, but according to Trump, they should get back to action in summer.

In a press release published on the last day of March, the league confirmed their plans for the 2020 NFL season, claiming it should start in September with a 16-game slate, as was the usual practice in previous years.
