Cardinals’ Fantastic Night in Dallas
Arizona trashed the Cowboys 38-10, using all four of their turnovers to score 24 direct points. We know that Dallas plays without Dak Prescott, but still, to trash them at AT&T Stadium like this is pretty remarkable.
Kyler Murray had two TD passes and one rushing touchdown, while Kenyan Drake and Christian Kirk posted superb performances. Both recorded two TDs, Drake with 164 rushing yards, one 69-yard long, and Kirk with 86 yards through the air, one 80 yards long.
Budda Baker’s stellar display of defensive efforts, however, cast a shadow on all other Cards’ players. The 24-year old safety had seven tackles, one sack, one forced fumble, and one interception.
Wilson and Metcalf Leading the Way
Pete Carroll and his team had a week bye, and a chance to recover from all the hard games they had in the first five rounds. The last one against the Vikings was pretty exhausting, but those before against the Dolphins, Cowboys, Pats, and the Falcons weren’t easy as well.
Still, the Seahawks posted all wins, and they did it due to fantastic offensive performances. The fewest number of points scored for them since the start of the campaign was 27 against the Vikes. That blockbusting offense is working perfectly primarily because of Russell Wilson and DK Metcalf.
Wilson has 1502 yards through the air so far, with 19 TDs and three interceptions, and 153 rushing yards. Metcalf posted 22 receptions, for 496 yards and five scores, becoming the leading WR on the team even though this is only his second year in the NFL.
Head to Head Matches
When looking at the entire history, the Seahawks have just one win more than the Cardinals, 21. Last year, both sides recorded a victory, but the interesting thing was that they did it on the road.
Over/Under limit here is 56.5, and we definitely recognize this as a high-efficient match. The Seahawks allow too many points in each game and are focused on the offense without emphasizing defensive efforts. The Cards, also have a much better attack, loaded with some high-caliber stars, such as Hopkins, Kirk, or Murray. Therefore, our pick here would be Over 56.5 points, with a suggestion to avoid betting on the winner.
