What are the best NBA bets today?
Wednesday, January 26th is set to see nine games take place which should make for an exciting night of basketball. Here at VegasOdds, we have picked the best NBA bets today to put cash in your pockets.
NBA: L.A. Clippers (-1.5) at Orlando Magic
The Clippers had a miraculous comeback win to stun the Wizards. The Clippers erased a 35-point deficit with stifling defense and efficient offense. It also helps that Luke Kennard won the game for the Clippers converting a 4-point play with only 1.9 seconds to go, to win 116-115. It was the role players that really stepped it up for the Clippers and they will need to do more of the same in this back-to-back against the Orlando Magic.
The Magic come into this contest off of a win for the first time since January 14th. They were able to take advantage of the Bulls being without Lonzo Ball and Zach Levine as they steamrolled them 114-95. The Magic played great collectively with seven of their nine players scoring double digits in points. In order for them to get their first and only win streak going of the year, they are going to need to play as a cohesive unit as they did against the Bulls.
The Clippers have the Magic’s number as they are 4-0 ATS in Orlando, as well as 5-2 ATS overall against them. Even without Paul George and Kawhi Leonard the Clippers are still one of the better defensive teams, as they held the Wizards to only 49 second-half points. Clippers will be too much on both ends of the court and should keep their momentum going.

NBA: Charlotte Hornets (-1.5) at Indiana Pacers
The Charlotte Hornets are needing to get back on track and they have the right opponent to make that happen. Coming into this matchup off the back of two losses, the Hornets have to weather the storm in order to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Hornets are hoping they can get back one of their major pieces in Gordon Hayward before their back-to-back showdown against the Pacers. Even if Hayward’s absence is still extended, I don’t expect the Hornets to have much trouble in this contest.
The Indiana Pacers are on the opposite side of the spectrum. The Pacers are clearly out of the playoff picture and are just playing for the future at this point. They are missing key pieces to their team and that is going to make it hard for them to keep up with the Hornets’ scoring. Caris Lavert and Chris Duarte are going to have to do the heavy lifting here in this matchup but it might just be too much.
The Hornets shouldn’t have much trouble out-dueling the Pacers in the box score. The Pacers have shown they can get hot at the right time but the Hornets continually find a way to win. The Hornets are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 meetings and you can expect them to make that 6-0 on Wednesday night.

NBA: Memphis Grizzlies (-4) at San Antonio Spurs
One of the surprise teams of the year is the Memphis Grizzlies, who are set to take on the gritty San Antonio Spurs. The Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant leads the team with 25.3 PPG. Morant has a real chance at being the MVP of the league this year if he continues to play the way that he has been. The Grizzlies as a whole has been one of the better teams to bet on throughout the season as well. They are 32-18 ATS this season and 16-7 ATS on the road, making them one of the more profitable teams to wager on.
The San Antonio Spurs aren’t the same team that we once knew as a championship-caliber team. They are more youthful with guys like Dejounte Murray, Derrick White, and Lonnie Walker. They finally get an ATS spread in yesterday’s matchup against the Rockets after being just 1-3 over their previous four ATS. The Spurs played like a cohesive unit against the Rockets with eight players reaching double digits in points which led to them winning by 30 points and covering by+25.5 margin.
It’s hard to imagine the Spurs being able to hang with the Grizzlies on a back-to-back given their current state of the team. Before beating the Rockets, the Spurs were only 2-7 and their wins came against only the Thunder and Clippers. The Grizzlies are still fighting for the top seed in the Western Conference and you should fully expect them to come in motivated to get the win and cover the spread.
