Following a very exciting finish from Tiger Woods over the weekend to end an 1,874-day drought without winning a PGA event, we are on to the Ryder Cup! Read below as we go over some of the odds for the event!

Odds to lift the trophy:

  • USA: -180
  • Europe: +150

Odds to win:

  • USA: -150
  • Europe: +150

Day 1 + Day 2 outcome:

  • USA +105
  • Europe +105
  • Tie +500

Day 3 Outcome:

  • US -130
  • Europe +150
  • Tie +1,000

Top American Point Scorer:

  • Dustin Johnson (5-1)

A player who has had a terrific 2018, has a chance to represent the USA in a big way in this event. Favored with the best odds as always, all he really needs to do is start strong, and then he is a shooing to in fact hold up as the top golfer for the US in this tournament. This USA team is loaded with talent, and Johnson is leading from the top.

  • Brooks Koepka (6-1)

In what has been a terrific season for Koepka, he is right behind Johnson here. He is #9 in the FedExCup rankings, with six finishes inside of the top ten, and a pair of victories. He hasn’t done much in the last few events he has appeared in though, so Koepka will be looking to get back on track in this one. He, again, is one of many standout performers for the USA, so he will just have to do his best out there.

Top European Point Scorer:

  • Justin Rose (9/2)

The 38-year-old Rose has been unreal in 2018, and is leading the FedExCup rankings, with two first-place finishes, $8.1 million in earnings, and ELEVEN finishes inside of the top ten. He is going to be tough to stop here, and he will be the key to Europe having a chance in the first few days where they are not favored. He has been on a tear, and that is going to have to continue, as he is just so valuable for Team Europe.

  • Rory McIlroy (9/2)

Tied for Rose with the best odds to be his team’s high scorer, McIlroy has been decent this year. #13 in the FedExCup rankings, with his lone win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. He has finished inside of the top ten on seven different occasions and will be looking for more. Surrounded by all of the active greats as his teammates, he’s got a lot of promise ahead of the matchup.

The Ryder Cup is going to bring a lot of excitement this weekend, and we’re going to also see if Tiger Woods can do it again. Hey, anything is possible.

When push comes to shove, we are going with Team USA. This is one of the best collection of American Athletes together on a team since the Dream Team. Brooks Koepka has not been golfing real well as of late, but look for him to put on a show. This is just like a major to him. Koepka is the top USA scorer, and helps them win the 2018 Ryder Cup.
