The Champions League is here. After waiting for more than two months, the most prominent European competition is back. And the first match we are going to cover is between two highly-offensive squads who often provide attractive football. Borussia is awaiting PSG at Signal-Iduna Park. We’ll see what choreography the Yellow Wall prepared for us this Tuesday night.
When: Tuesday 18th February, 3:00 pm ET
Where: Signal-Iduna Park
Odds: Borussia Dortmund +187 | Draw +275 | PSG +130
Over/Under: Over 2.5 goals (-250) | Under 2.5 goals (+200)
- PSG didn’t lose for the last 23 straight matches
- Borussia’s previous six events ended with Over 3.5 goals
- Four of the last five games PSG played saw five or more scores
The Norwegian prodigy is definitely the sensation of the year. Maybe even a decade. In the span of six months, Haaland showed everyone that he might be the most talented striker ever seen. And we aren’t exaggerating, just look at his numbers and previous performances. While playing for Red Bull Salzburg, he broke numerous records and yielded unreal numbers, and the same continued after arriving in Dortmund.
At the moment, the 19-year old scored eight goals in five Bundesliga appearances and made one assist. His debut was blockbusting, posting a hat-trick in just 20 minutes, turning the tables against Augsburg, in one wild game.
In general, his Borussia plays very well, and is constantly looking for a way to score goals. With Sancho and Haaland upfront, that really isn’t very hard.
PSG Aiming a Trophy
After years of providing failures and frustrations to themselves and the fans, the Saints are looking serious in their intention to win the UCL trophy. Tomas Tuchel built machinery, that bashes his opponents, using a superb offense to crack every opponent who stands in their way.
Mbpabbe, Cavani, Neymar, Icardi, Di Maria, once they start pounding, there is no way for them to stop. And not only that. It appears that the German coach also found a way to cover up all the defensive flaws this team had in the past, or at least to minimize their impact on the performances.
The efficiency of PSG’s recent performances is at the highest possible level, and all of their strikers are more than eager to step on the pitch and take on this challenge.
Marco Reuss isn’t playing because of his muscle injury. Julian Brandt and Thomas Delaney both have problems with an ankle injury and are questionable.
Neymar is ready, and that is the biggest news from Paris. Presnel Kimpenmbe is questionable, while Abdou Diallo and Colin Dagba aren’t in the protocol.
Goals are in the middle of attention here. Don’t try to bet on the final outcome, but chose efficiency instead, because it is a much safer option. Over 2.5 goals are not that profitable, but it is more than certain in this case, therefore, who wants a safe bet there you have it. But our pick here will be Over 1.5 HT with odds at +110. There won’t be any calculations or tactics involved, only attack on both sides, right from the start.
Pick: Over 1.5 HT +110
