Team News and Game Preview

The Clippers are rolling to the end of January and are trending in the right direction. To start January, LA had gone just 2-7, but they have won four in a row since then and just scored 130-plus in each of the last two games.

Against the Lakers on Tuesday, Paul George (27) and Kawhi Leonard (25) gave fans a glimpse of what they have been waiting for.

On Thursday against the Spurs, the Clippers’ star duo shined bright once again.

If they continue to play at that level, the Clippers will be a major threat in the Western Conference.

The Hawks lost two straight but responded by beating the Thunder in a thrilling game, 137-132. Trae Young continues to flex his muscles with 33 points and 11 assists, and Dejounte Murray added 21 points as the Hawks survived a tough OKC team.

The Hawks have climbed to one game over .500 and might be able to sneak into the playoffs after all, especially with the way their impressive guard duo is playing.

Clippers vs Hawks Prediction

The Hawks beat the Clippers no more than three weeks ago, but Paul George didn’t suit up in that game. Young and Murray combined for 48 on that night, and that’s a normal game for the two.

However, with the way George and Leonard are playing as of late, it will be difficult to stop the Clippers, and they sneak out a tough road win in a close contest.
