Pick & Prediction

Who will win the World Cup of Darts this weekend:

It looks to be a shootout between the top three ranked sides in the competition. England are the top-ranked side. They have won the World Cup on three occasions, but haven’t tasted success since 2016. Wales certainly have the momentum having won 12 months ago, while Gerwyn Price is in excellent form this year, having won the World Championship.

However, the Netherlands would be our pick, as the team of Michael van Gerwen and Dirk van Duijvenbode looks extremely promising. Van Gerwen was previously world number one, and is a very skillful player when the pressure is on. While, van Duijvenbode comes into the World Cup after career-best performances in the World Championships, World Matchplay, and UK Open this year.
