Paul’s Biggest Test To Date
The long-running drama that is Jake Paul’s boxing career continues in December. However, this is the first big test of his boxing credential, as standing on the opposite side to the ring from him won’t be an NBA star or former UFC fighter, but an actual professional boxer. Paul has been calling for bigger challenges with every win that he has recorded, and he finally has what he has been asking for. However, it could be a case of being careful what you wish for.
Paul is currently 4-0 in his career, but it is very easy to pick holes through every victory that he has recorded. Three of the wins have come by KO/TKO, with those coming against fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib, former NBA player Nate Robinson and UFC star Ben Askren. The biggest test of his credentials to date came in his last fight, as he needed a contentious decision to get a win against Tyron Woodley.
Fury Clear Favorite In Betting
When this fight was announced, Fury was immediately listed as the favorite. The only surprise is that he isn’t shorter than he actually is. Fury rose to prominence on the UK’s version of Love Island, but the half-brother to Tyson Fury has always admitted that his long-term future is in the ring. Like Paul, he hasn’t really been tested throughout his career to this point, as he has won all seven fights that he has had, with four of those being won by knockout.
He beat Paul’s sparring partner back in August by unanimous decision, which was effectively a clinic, and Fury could have ended the fight at any stage that he wished. More could be hanging on the line in this fight for Fury, as the Fury family have been standing alongside him throughout the build-up, which means that Tyson could distance himself from his half-brother if the unlikely result occurs. Tensions between the Fury’s and Paul have already reached high levels in the build-up, but if the fight plays out the way many expect, it should be the easiest money Fury has ever made.
Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul Pick and Prediction:
We aren’t going to beat around the bush. Fury should win this fight very easily. If he turns up and wants to end the contest in the first two rounds, then it will be over. He is the professional boxer that has devoted his life to the sport, and Fury looks like the man to silence Paul.
