We saw five games in the NBA during the previous night, and most of them ended without a dramatic finish. Kings demolished the Suns, Orlando won in the Florida Derby, Jazz annihilated the Spurs. Also, the Mavs beat the Blazers. The only one with some thrilling ending took place in Indianapolis.

Dave Joerger and his boys are doing a magnificent job this season. The Kings displayed excellent performance last night in Arizona and defeated the Suns with 122-105. Then swept the opponents already in the first quarter, which they won 36-9, and at one point of the second sequence, guests had a 40-9 lead. The Suns were truly helpless, and one more handicap for them was the absence of Devin Booker. Sacramento had 7 players with double-digit points, Buddy Hield scored 20 points, Fox 16 and Bogdanovic 14. With the hosts, De’Anthony Melton had 21.

Orlando Defeats Miami

Orlando and Miami met to decide who runs Florida. The Magic defeated the home team with 105-90, breaking their resistance in the third quarter which they won 30-12. Heat got down to -6 in the last period, but they didn’t have the strength to turn this one upside down. Hassan Whiteside left the bench at some point and never returned. Media houses are speculating that the reason for such an action was his frustration over several things. Aaron Gordon and Nikola Vucevic posted double-doubles. Gordon had 20 points and 13 rebounds, while Vucevic added 19 buckets and 9 points. Justise Winslow had a team-high 14 points for Miami.

Utah Jazz dropped 22 three-pointers on Spurs defense in their 139-105 win. The guests from San Antonio didn’t have a solution for this which is why they got destroyed. The Jazzers built the advantage constantly, without any desire to slow down or save any energy. Donovan Mitchell scored 4 three-pointers and 20 points, Rudy Gobert had 18 points and 10 boards, while Kyle Korver contributed with 15 points, proving that his arrival in Salt Lake will add more diversity for Utah’s attack. Jakob Poeltl had 20 points and 7 rebounds for the Spurs. DeRozan and Aldridge scored 16 points each.

Luka Doncic Leads the Mavs

The Mavericks defeated the Blazers, 111-102 after a furious start. Dallas led 15 points at the halftime, not allowing the guests to come back, though they did have some chances. It was once again Luka Doncic who was the star of the night. With 21 points and 9 rebounds, the Slovenian kid showed that he is the best rookie in the league so far. Wesley Matthews scored 17 points while DeAndre Jordan had that much rebounds with 12 points. Damian Lillard posted 33 points, but that wasn’t enough to beat Dallas.

And finally, the most interesting game of the night took place in Indiana, where Pacers defeated Chicago Bulls with 96-90. Two sides were constantly close, until the middle of the fourth quarter when hosts made a 6-point advantage, which eventually decided the game. In those moments, Domantas Sabonis and Corry Joseph did an excellent job on both ends, securing the 14th win of the season for their team. Darren Collison was the best scorer among the Pacers with 23 points, while Myles Turner had 18 points and 10 boards. Lauri Markkanen had his comeback after a tough surgery. One of te best young players in the league had a team-high 21 points, proving that the injury is behind him.
