Game Preview
It has been a miserable start to the new MLS season for the Galaxy, as they are yet to win in five outings this term. The franchise will be aiming to reach the playoffs for a second straight season, while they would have been dreaming of a first MLS Cup win since 2014.
Their winless start to the new season continued last weekend, as they were held to a third consecutive draw by Portland. That was also their second goalless draw in three matches. Scoring goals has certainly appeared to be an issue already this term, as they have needed a West-low of two.

The Sounders currently boast the best defensive record in the MLS, as they have allowed just two goals in their opening fixtures. They were in excellent form last weekend, as they registered a 4-1 win on the road against Sporting KC. Jordan Morris was in excellent form, as he netted all four goals.

We could see the Galaxy’s miserable start to the new season continuing this weekend. The Sounders have been in the better form already this term, and they come into this match with a positive record against the Galaxy, having won five of the previous eight.
