Game Preview
Toronto took the lead against Columbus through a terrific strike from academy product Deandre Kerr in the 24th minute but they were unable to hang on for their first win of the season. The Crew’s equalizer came through Jimmy Medranda in the 75th minute and they should have won the game in stoppage time but Lucan Zelarayan hit the post when he was clean through on goal. Toronto has acquired a huge talent in former Juventus midfielder Federico Bernardeschi, and all of their good moments came through the Italian. If Toronto is to turn its form around then Bernardeschi will be key.

Inter Miami suffered their first defeat of the season thanks to a deflected freekick from Santiago Rodriguez resulting in a Christopher McVey own goal. Inter created plenty of chances to get themselves back into the game but were wasteful in front of the goal. Former golden boot winner Josef Martinez, acquired from Atlanta in the offseason, was guilty of missing the best of those chances for Miami and is still waiting for his first goal for the club.
Prediction
Inter Miami will be looking to rebound from their defeat to NYCFC at the weekend and a trip to Toronto is probably a good place to get back to winning ways. Toronto will keep it tight, but they should find this Miami side too good for them.
