- Giannis is on fire with back-to-back 40+point games
- Chris Paul and Devin Booker slowed down a little bit, and that immediately reflected the final result.
- The Bucks have no other option but to win, as they currently trail in the series, 2-1.
Even though the Milwaukee Bucks look very motivated and on the rise, in reality, they are in a very tough position. Mike Budenholzer’s side is down one game against the Suns and needs to win tonight’s contest; otherwise, the Larry O’Brien will be very close to Arizona.

Paul and Booker Being Tested
This is the most important, and therefore, toughest and most stressful part of the year for NBA players. All of them are being tested at the moment, but the best ones are experiencing unreal pressure. That is the case with Chris Paul and Devin Booker. Even though they had a marvelous season and playoffs, if they fail to take their game to the next level, all that will be forgotten.
Booker had arguably the worst performance in the past few months in Game 3 when he ended the game with just 10 points. Phoenix’s sharpshooter had just three hits from the field in 17 shots and was 1-for-7 for three.
Paul did score 19 points, but overall, he didn’t control the pace of the game as he usually does. That had massive consequences, and one of them is Booker’s 10 points. The other is the fact that Milwaukee blew away his team, 120-100.
Giannis’ Moment to Seize Greatness
There weren’t many guys able to score at least 40 points and have 10+ boards in back-to-back games. That was even rarer in the NBA Finals. But that is what Giannis did in Games 2 and 3. He took over and started pounding, muscling his way towards the basket.
That forced the Suns’ players to be more aggressive on him and make fouls, which is why Giannis had 17 free throws in Game 3. It is something that disturbed Phoenix’s defense and eventually caused them to made certain changes that weren’t planned.
We need to mention Jrue Holiday here. After having mediocre performances, his defense in Game 3 was refreshing. He slowed down Paul and Booker, giving them hard times and indicating that he might be a huge factor in Bucks’ performances until the end of the series. After all, he was brought to Milwaukee because of that.
Head to Head
Game 1 saw the Suns winning 118-105, and Game 2 ended in their favor as well, 118-108. Both were played in Phoenix. The latest one at Fiserv was 120-100 for the Bucks.
Prediction and Pick
Who will win tonight’s NBA Game:
The over/under line is set at 220.5, and for us, it is under. So far, not one match in these finals went below the proposed line, and given this circumstance and the importance of Game 4, our prediction is under.
- Under 220.5
