Game Preview

The Suns have turned it around quickly after a terrible skid. However, they just got blown out by the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night, 132-100. Mikal Bridges played well again with 23 points, although he shot just 6-18 from the field, and Deandre Ayton added 20 points and 9 boards.

Bridges now has three straight games with 20 or more points and has provided the Suns offense with a huge spark as of late, although Wednesday’s game was an exception for Phoenix.

When these teams met at the beginning of December, the Celtics blew the Suns out, 125-98. Bridges shot just 2-12 in that game, and Ayton, Bridges, and Chris Paul combined for just 16 points in the losing effort.

The Celtics enjoyed their home game against the Nets on Wednesday night, winning by 43 points in a stunning outcome. Boston scored 46 points in the first quarter and 79 in the first half.

Jayson Tatum led the way with 31 points and 9 rebounds in just 29 minutes. Jaylen Brown had 26 points in 31 minutes, and four starters for Boston had double figures in a solid team win.

Prediction

The Suns have been playing well despite a huge loss to the Hawks on Wednesday night in ugly fashion. It is worth noting that Devin Booker led the way in the first meeting against Boston, and he isn’t suiting up for this content.

On the other hand, Boston has been playing well lately and just embarrassed the Nets on Wednesday. TD Garden will be loud as always, and the Celtics win this game easily.
