Championship week! Read below folks, as we give you a few previews!

#1 Alabama @ #4 Georgia (Alabama -13)

We’re used to seeing Nick Saban teams with amazing defenses and dominant running backs. But we are new to seeing a QB leading them the way Tua has, and boy has he been on another level. He has hardly seen the field in the fourth quarter this year! They rank #2 in offense and #3 in defense and win by an average of 36 points every week. They will likely be dictating the terms of this engagement as well.

Georgia has had a very good season and has a chance to upset Bama and win the SEC. Jake Fromm has been a touchdown machine with 24 in 12 games, averaging two per week. D’Andre Swift and Elijah Holyfield have consistently been able to find the end zone and pick up big yards on the ground. This offense can stack up with any team. They are #10 in points allowed under Kirby Smart. The only chance they have? CONTAIN TUA.

Prediction: Bama gets it done in a closer game than expected. Bet UGA +13

#9 Texas @ #5 Oklahoma (OK -8)

At 9-3, the Longhorns sit at #9 in the poll and are likely not getting into the playoff. They rank #46 in offense and #52 in defense but have a solid foundation. Sam Ehlinger looks healthy, and boy will they need him for this game. He has been sensational all year, with 23 passing touchdowns and 11 more rushing. Tre Watson and Keaontay Ingram both need to gain a few more yards on the ground, as they need all the help they can get when they are facing off with Kyler Murray.

Speaking of Murray- who has been great this year- he has to decide soon if he wants to go to the MLB or the NFL. With the #1 offense in the nation, the Sooners have been hard to slow. 37 touchdowns and only seven picks, plus 3,674 yards have Murray looking sensational. He has been unbelievable in place of Baker Mayfield, the #1 pick in the draft. Trey Surmon, Kyler Murray, and Kennedy Brooks all have 11+ rushing TD’s. They just can’t stop scoring!

Prediction: Oklahoma wins big.

#17 Utah @ #10 Washington (WASH -5)

The Utes have won by an average of 11 points per game this year, but haven’t impressed much with the offense. Tyler Huntley is yet to get to 2,000 yards and only has 12 TD passes. Zack Moss has 1,092 yards and 11 rushing TD’s, as he looks to turn his play into a chance to be drafted. There is a lot that has to go their way for them to have a chance.

With the #8 defense in the nation, Washington should have an easy time slowing Moss down. Jake Browning has 16 TD’s, and 2,692 yards on the year, but also has tossed nine picks. Myles Gaskin has been a beast on the ground, with 1,076 yards and 10 scores, as the battle between him and Moss should be a fun one. Washington is going to get the W today.

Prediction: Washington by six or more.
