Ok, time, please slow down! We are already to week 12, as the regular season is beginning to wind down, with the playoff committee letting us know what’s good every week. Read below for a few game previews!

Utah (7-3) -7 at Colorado (5-5)

It’s been a solid year for the Utes, led by one of the most impressive RB’s in the nation. Zack Moss has 179 attempts for 1,092 yards (6.1 ypc) and has scored 11 touchdowns. They have scored 33 offensive touchdowns in all, and are currently leading the PAC-12, which really is hardly surprising. QB Tyler Huntley has limited turnovers, which has paid dividends.

Unfortunately for the Buffalos, they have lost five games in a row after their 5-0 start and will be making a coaching change after the season. Steven Montez’s numbers (2,595 yards, 66.6% comp, 17 TD’s, 5 INT’s) do stack up well with most QB’s though, while Travon McMillan has 910 rushing yards and six touchdowns. They have 36 offensive touchdowns, but the D has let them down.

Prediction: Six losses in a row for Colorado, as Moss runs all over them. Bet UTAH -7.

Missouri (6-4) -6 at Tennessee (5-5)

QB Drew Lock has been, for lack of a better pun, “LOCKED IN” this year, as he’s got 21 TD’s to 8 INT’s, and has 2,647 passing yards. Larry Rountree II and Damarea Crockett have combined for 1,457 rushing yards and 16 TD’s this year, forming quite the tandem. They are just 2-4 in conference play and would love to win this to stay ahead of Tennessee.

The offense has ceased to impress over at Tennessee this year, as QB Jarrett Guarantano, who did help lead them to a big win over #17 Kentucky, hasn’t posted the best numbers. He limited turnovers in that game, and that’s another key for them. 1,768 yards, 11 TD’s, and only 2 INT’s. They could use some big carries from RB Tim Jordan or catches from Josh Palmer (19-439-2)

Prediction: Missouri covers the spread, and Tennessee is back in the loss column

Ole Miss (5-5) at Vanderbilt -2.5 (4-6)

The Rebels have gotten a strong season from QB Jordan Ta’Amu, who has 17 TD’s plus 3,374 yards, and just 5 INT’s. RB Scottie Phillips has 927 rushing yards and 12 scores, while Ta’Amu has also run for six scores. They’ve got the 19th highest scoring offense in the nation, but have one of the worst scoring defenses (36 ppg allowed)

Being outscored by 0.1 ppg on average, games have been close for the Commodores. Kyle Shurmur, son of Giants coach Pat Shurmur, has 17 TD’s to 5 INT’s, throwing for 2,286 yards. Ke’Shawn Vaughn has 849 yards and nine rushing touchdowns and has looked very impressive. They have hardly generated much of a pass rush this year, a legitimate issue. They need Shurmur to have a big day.

Prediction: Ole Miss wins, gets back over .500.
