Alright, folks, we’re nearing the end of the regular season! But here we are in week 13… read below we as highlight a few games!

#3 Notre Dame (11-0) @ USC (5-6) ND -9.5

To keep their playoff push, this game is a must-win for the Fighting Irish. Ian Book has been playing exceptionally well in recent weeks, while Dexter Williams continues to run the ball effectively. Notre Dame has the fifteenth best scoring defense in the nation and is winning games by an average of 17.3 points. It is no surprise that they have been this effective, and we expect great things from the #3 team in the nation.

USC QB JT Daniels has had issues taking care of the ball this year, with 10 INT’s in 11 games, and he has not been able to run the ball much. Aca’Cedric Ware has 757 yards on the ground and 6 TD’s, while Vavae Malepeai has rushed for seven additional scores. There are many things this team wishes they could do better, but this week is a chance to end the playoff hopes of ND.

Prediction: Notre Dame will win big, and cover the spread. Hello, 12-0!

#14 Utah State (10-1) @ #21 Boise State (9-2) BSU -3

The Aggies come in with the second-highest scoring offense in the nation, around 49 points per game! This offense has been out of this world, and they are winning each week by an average of 27 points. Jordan Love has 2,845 yards and 25 touchdowns, while only tossing four picks. The offense has been unbelievable, while Darwin Thompson has 890 yards and 14 rushing TD’s. They face a Boise State defense with stopping power, but this week? Let’s see.

Boise State has the #19 ranked offense in the nation. Brett Rypien has been a touchdown machine, as he’s thrown 28 TD passes to only seven picks. The running game has been a one-man show with Alexander Mattison, 1,015 yards and 13 TD’s. The two of them have been a great tandem, and look to keep it going.

Prediction: You can’t stop Utah State. They will win, so bet them +3.

#24 Pitt (7-4) @ Miami (6-5) Miami -5.5

This hasn’t been a great year for Pitt with four losses, but they do find themselves inside of the top-25 rankings. Qadree Ollison has been a force on the ground, with 1,106 yards and 10 rushing touchdowns. Right behind him, Darrin Hall has 888 yards and nine scores. Those two have almost 2,000 yards combined with 17 touchdowns. Kenny Pickett has only 12 TD passes, but the effectiveness of the run game makes it all run smoothly.

Miami predicates themselves on their defense, #19 in the nation entering play. Neither Rosier or Perry have been effective QB’s, each with 5 picks, Perry with 13 TD’s, Rosier with six. Travis Homer has rushed for 800 yards with three scores. Miami’s D has picked off 15 passes, and they have been huge in the sack department. If they can limit Pitt’s rushing yards, they will have a chance.

Prediction: Pitt will run all over Miami, and get to 8-4. Pitt +5.5!
