Another week to preview of college football! The upsets should be a plenty, as should the amount of entertaining football. Read below we bring a few game previews to you.

Air Force at San Diego State (-10)

The 2-3 Air Force Falcons have gotten by with a terrific run-game, which has produced the majority of their yards and touchdowns. They have had reps split between three QB’s, who are combining for barely over 140 pass yards per game and have only THREE touchdown passes. They have six players with over 100 rushing yards, and they’ve got 14 rushing touchdowns as a team. They are going to need Jordan Jackson and his ability to tackle for loss frequently today.

The Aztecs of San Diego State have gotten off to a 4-1 start. Ryan Agnew has 577 yards, 3 TD’s and 3 INT’s, but it is the run-game that has them getting it done. 513 yards and 5 TD’s for top RB Juwan Washington, and 311 yards + 2 TD’s for Chase Jasmin have helped them pace the offense. Nine different players have recorded a sack this year, as they have put tremendous pressure on opposing QB’s.

Prediction: San Diego State covers the spread and wins big.

UCF at Memphis (+4.5)

The Knights, unofficial “champs” last year, are 5-0 with the 7th highest scoring offense in the nation. McKenzie Milton has thrown for 1,501 yards and 15 TD’s, with only 4 INT’s this year. 346 yards and 4 TD’s for Adrian Kilms, and 5 more rushing TD’s for Milton have led the run-game. They just keep racking up the points. The defense has picked off eight passes, and the pass-rush has been great.

Memphis is off to a 4-2 start to the season, with the 11th highest scoring offense in the nation. Brady White has been sensational, with 1,549 yards, 15 TD”s, and just one single INT. At the same time, Darrell Henderson has 934 yards and 12 rushing touchdowns. Patrick Taylor, back #2, has 337 yards and 6 touchdowns. Even with this great offense, it is Bryce Huff’s five sacks that are helping the D big time.

Prediction: Bet the underdog.  Memphis will win a close, high-scoring game against UCF.

Florida at Vanderbilt (+7)

Florida is off to a 5-1 start under Dan Mullen, and a #14 National ranking. They also have the eighth best scoring defense in the league, giving up just 14 points per game. 1,122 yards, 13 TD’s, and 4 INT’s have QB Felipe Franks off to an impressive start. The run-game has been split between Jordan Scarlett, Lamical Perine, and Dameion Pierce. They have recorded 20 sacks and picked off six passes.

Vanderbilt is 3-3 so far this season. 1,400 yards, 9 TD’s, and 4 INT’s mean QB Kyle Shurmur has moved the ball well. Ke’Shawn Vaughn has 439 yards and 5 rushing TD’s, helping to lead the run-game this year. There is no real strength on this team, so they just really need to score A LOT to have a chance.

Prediction: Bet on Florida. They will win by 8 or more points.
