NCAAB: #11 Arizona State vs #6 TCU, Prediction and Odds (Mar 17)
- March Madness is finally here.
- Arizona State crushed Nevada in the First Four to earn a date with TCU.
- The TCU Horned Frogs will be without Eddie Lampkin Jr., who entered the transfer portal.
Arizona State got a First Four spot and absolutely steamrolled Nevada to earn a date with TCU. The Horned Frogs come in with a lot of hype but don’t have Eddie Lampkin Jr. after he entered the transfer portal.

Game Preview
The Arizona State Sun Devils entered the Pac-12 Conference Tournament on the wrong side of the bubble, but a pair of wins — including a victory over USC — earned them a trip to the Big Dance.
Bobby Hurley’s team smacked Nevada, 98-73, in a dominant First Four game. DJ Horne led the way with 20 points and the Cambridge brothers combined for 32 points in the blowout win against the Wolfpack.
TCU enters the Big Dance with some questions, especially after Eddie Lampkin Jr. decided to enter the transfer portal right before the tourney began.

However, TCU stunned Kansas State in the Big 12 Tournament and played tough against Texas in a 66-60 loss. The combo of Mike Miles Jr. and Chuck O’Bannon Jr. will need to step up, but TCU has all the makings of a team that can make a Sweet 16 run, at least.
Picks
The First Four usually sees a team make it to the Round of 32, but I don’t see Arizona State defeating TCU in this one. The MIles-O’Bannon duo will combine for 40 points, and TCU will get the win.
However, the Sun Devils do put up quite the fight, and this game comes down to the final seconds with Arizona State beating the spread.
