The Razorbacks topped Illinois on Thursday in the Round of 64 as Eric Musselman gets another tournament win.
Ricky Council IV scored 18 points with 10 rebounds and Davonte Davis scored 16 points with 6 rebounds as the Razorbacks got the win against the Illini.
The Jayhawks battled Howard as Bill Self once again missed the game as he recovers from a procedure, and he should return to the sidelines soon.

Nonetheless, Kansas did as expected and crushed Howard, 96-68/ Jalen Wilson scored 20 points with 7 rebounds and Gradey Dick added 19 with 11 rebounds and 5 assists, and the Jayhawks look every bit as dangerous as they did last year despite losing a ton of talent.
The Jayhawks’ 50-point first half made it difficult for Howard, and there is a lot to like about the Jayhawks.
