Here we go. If Purdue is going to lose, the Spartans are the team that can get it done. Last time out, Michigan State lost a heartbreaker by one point in East Lansing, as Zach Edey played hero with a game-winning layup with seconds left.

Zach Edey was sensational in that game for Purdue, finishing with 32 points and 17 rebounds as just five Purdue players scored on the day.

Tyson Walker did all he could for the Spartans, scoring 30 points as only six Spartans scored in the game as both head coaches kept their benches limited in such a tight battle.

Michigan State beat Rutgers, lost to Indiana, and then beat Iowa over the past three games, while Purdue has won seven in a row since losing its first game of the year to Rutgers by one.

The Spartans gave the Boilermakers everything they got, but that was at Michigan State. This time, Purdue wins again as Jaden Ivey continues to improve his NBA Draft stock. It is a close game, but Purdue wins by single digits.
