- The New York Jets and the Atlanta Falcons meet in London in NFL’s first overseas game this year.
- The Jets defeated the Tennessee Titans last week.
- Meanwhile, the Falcons lost to Washington Football Team.
Zach Wilson and the Jets posted their first win of the year together, which is a great boost for NYJ’s morale. On the other hand, the situation is completely the opposite among the Falcons, who again showed they simply can’t close their matches.

Jets vs Falcons Vegas Odds
Wilson’s First NFL Win
We are more than thrilled to see this kiddo winning his first pro match. Especially after two very tough defeats against the Patriots, 25-6, and the Broncos in Denver, 26-0. It seems that the lesson at Mile High immediately brought some positive responses. Defeating the Titans after overtime, 27-24, is the best possible thing that could have happened to the Jets.
Wilson threw 297 yards for two touchdowns and one pick. He was sacked only once, which is a big improvement considering the amount of beating he took in the previous events.
The Jets offense is the worst in the league, with just 47 points in these four rounds. Over the opening three matches, they delivered 20 points. On the other side, the defense is solid, and we are more than sure that if Wilson plays a bit better, that will improve the Jets’ efficiency and make them more competitive.
Falcons’ Bitter Destiny
Each time the Falcons lose narrowly or waste the lead in the final period, everyone immediately thinks about the Super Bowl LI. And it seems that losing games like these is a destiny for Matt Ryan and this generation of the Falcons’ players.
Shortly after the start of the final period vs. Washington, the Falcons were up eight points. They even had the attack afterward, but eventually lost 34-30, allowing two touchdowns in the final four minutes of the game.
Ryan had a wonderful match with 283 yards and four touchdowns, while Cordarrelle Patterson caught five passes for 82 yards and three touchdowns. Then again, the Falcons didn’t win because they simply don’t have too many options in the key moments.
Head to Head
So far, these franchises have played 12 times, and the Falcons have a better record, winning seven contests. The latest one was in 2017, and the Falcons won at MetLife Stadium, 25-20.
NFL Picks This Week:
Who will win tonight’s NFL game:
This will be an intriguing matchup. There are so many questions surrounding it. Is Wilson going to continue with his improvement? Will the Falcons’ experience prevail? What is the most logical solution for us here, is to take Under, with the current line set at 46.5 points. The game will be played in London, which means that the players need to adjust to new circumstances, starting with jet lag, new time zone, etc. That is why we expect to see defenses in focus, not the offensive teams.
- Under 46.5 points
