Tom McNeil (11-7) Bengals Moneyline vs Raiders

Las Vegas Raiders vs Cincinnati Bengals Vegas Odds

There’s going to be some kind of wonderful story that emerges from this game – Either the Raiders continue an unlikely march when you consider how much they’ve dealt with this season, or the Bengals will finally get that elusive playoff win for the first time since 1991 and the 30+ year streak will finally be gone.

As far as the game goes, I can see it being tighter than expected, I’m tempted to go over on 49.5 points because this has all the makings of a shootout, but I can also see some nerves coming in early and points being limited in the first half too.

Regardless, I do think the Bengals are going to emerge from this with the victory – I’m not confident enough to say they’ll cover the spread too, but they should win.

Brian Handzel (10-7-1) Buffalo -4.5 vs Patriots

New England Patriots vs Buffalo Bills Vegas Odds

The Buffalo Bills were able to hold off the Patriots and win the AFC East this season, but now they will have to play the Patriots for the third time this season to advance past Wild Card Weekend. The Patriots won the first matchup in Buffalo back on December 6, and the Bills won the second matchup in New England on December 26. The Bills are riding a four-game win streak coming into this game as the Patriots are 2-3 in their last five games.

Not only is it going to be cold in Buffalo, which both teams are used to, but a playoff game in Buffalo has the fans acting like there is nothing else in the world going on. Giving the fans in Buffalo all day to tailgate, as the game isn’t until 8:15 PM EST means that the stadium is going to be rocking. I look for the Bills to not only win but to cover the four-point spread as well.

Carl Taylor (7-10-1) Buffalo -4.5 vs Patriots

New England Patriots vs Buffalo Bills Vegas Odds

My NFL wild card weekend lock is Buffalo -4.5 at home against the Patriots. This is a rematch of the week 16 matchup that the Bills won 33-21 in Foxborough. Bill Belichick is a postseason master, but he’s also got a rookie QB in Mac Jones playing in his first NFL playoff game while up against Josh Allen who led the Bills to the AFC Championship game last season.

Beardlaws (@Beardlaws) (11-7) Eagles +9 vs Bucs

Philadelphia Eagles vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers Vegas Odds

Tampa Bay do have their injury issues coming into the playoffs and Antonio Brown’s loss will be felt on the field, but Tom Brady is also playing just as well as he’s ever done and it’s understandable that they come into this as a heavy favorite.

Despite that, Philly have enough about them to stay competitive and keep this close enough to cover the spread, but it will be a shock of Tampa Bay don’t advance.

Weather will be a BIG factor.
Strong winds will not hurt an Eagles running game but it will impact Tampa’s passing offense.
