Game Preview
The Bengals can thank their defense for a great performance in earning a victory over the Ravens on Sunday. The Cincinnati offense had an off day with Joe Burrow throwing 29 completions for only 209 yards and 1 touchdown. RB Joe Mixon struggled and was given no room to maneuver in the backfield. With the game tied at 17-17, Bengals’ DE Sam Hubbard secured a fumble and ran it back 98 yards for the game-winning score. There is usually a price to pay for a hard-working defense and the Bengals lost left tackle Jonah Williams and cornerback Eli Apple to injuries. With Alex Cappa and La’el Collins already missing all eyes will be on the practice reports this week.

The Bills were almost on the receiving end of one of the biggest upsets in playoff history on Sunday, but they held on to record a 31-34 victory over the Dolphins. QB Josh Allen threw 23 completions for 352 yards and 3 touchdowns but, in an out-of-character display, he also threw 2 picks, was sacked 7 times, and coughed up 3 fumbles. Wide receivers Gabe Davis and Stefon Diggs each posted 100+ yards for solid outings. Buffalo knows they need to tighten up in all areas of the field for the visit of the dangerous Bengals.
Bengals vs Bills Prediction
There will be a lot of emotion surrounding this game following the week 17 cancellation and the awful Damar Hamlin injury. I expect a nervy start but for things to settle down into a thrilling affair soon after. The Bengals’ defense is beaten up and the Bills’ offense will take no prisoners. My head says the Bills will win this one, but my gut says the Bengals can cause an upset. It will be close but I will side with the ‘Who Dey’ nation in this one.
