As the first week of the NFL Preseason is about to begin, we look ahead to the odds at a few of the games. Read below for more.

Panthers (+2.5) vs. Bills (-2.5)

The Panthers will be looking to get off to a strong preseason beginning, following their run to the playoffs last season. They’ve made a few changes and Jonathan Stewart has now gone, replaced by CJ Anderson. It should be fun to see Torrey Smith catching deep balls from Cam Newton.

On the other hand, we have the Bills, with two new QB’s competing for the starting job. Fresh off a very surprising playoff berth last season, they will be looking for another solid year. They just barely got in, after the Ravens blew a late lead against the Bengals in the season’s final week. They switched QB’s, but the pressure is on after they scored just three points in that game.

Bears (+2.5) vs. Bengals (-2.5)

The expectations will be high for Mitchell Trubisky and co. this year, and the fun is about to kick off. Watch out for his new weapon Allen Robinson, and the second-year improvement of Tarik Cohen as well. Jordan Howard is about to go beast mode.

The Bengals will be looking to snap a multi-year playoff drought, after making it for the first five seasons of Andy Dalton’s career. The question remains, if they can get a legit WR to produce anywhere near AJ Green’s level.

Browns (+1) vs. Giants (-1)

For the first time in a long time, it’s hard to see the Browns having a bad season at this point in the summer. They improved at the QB, RB, and WR spots, and have some legitimate talent now. This is going to be fun to watch.

The Giants now have a new coach, firing Ben McAdoo following the disaster of 2017. Eli Manning is back under center, for good, and Saquon Barkley is coming to town to be a dominant force. Once they sign OBJ, they’re set.

Rams (+3) vs. Ravens (-3)

Fresh off a playoff berth and a surprisingly dominant season last year, the Rams come in with very high expectations. Let’s see if the Goff-Gurley combo can be as good this year.

The Ravens on the other hand may have a QB battle on their hands, and not yet know it. First-round selection and former Heisman winner Lamar Jackson, is in indirect competition with Joe Flacco for the starting spot. This is the last year of Flacco’s contract, so…

Redskins (+3) vs. Patriots (-3)

The start of something new. With Kirk Cousins now gone, the Redskins turn to Alex Smith to become their new starting quarterback. Derrius Guice also gives them a brand new QB-RB pairing, like when RGIII played with Alfred Morris.

The Patriots will likely be dominant as usual this year, and the key players to watch will be the running backs, between Jeremy Hill and Sony Michel, they should be ready to go. Bill Belichick is always ready.
