Another week gone by, and another a few games to start predicting. So, read below as we preview the best of this week.

Saints (-5) at Bengals

New Orleans has gone undefeated since their opening week shootout loss to Tampa Bay. The offense has looked sensational, with the exception of the Cleveland game. This team has one of the best quarterbacks of all time and a running back tandem who cannot be slowed. The addition of Dez Bryant only serves to make the WR corps even better, while the defense has come alive in a major way in recent weeks.

For Cincy, they have struggled a bit in the past few weeks, and now they are going to be without AJ Green indefinitely after a toe sprain. With him out, it is on Tyler Boyd to begin to step up and try to improve things. The defense has been okay for them, but it could serve to be better.

Prediction:  Saints cover the -5 spread, win by 1-2 touchdowns.

Redskins at Buccaneers (-3)

With Paul Richardson just placed on IR, they lose one of their top wide receivers for the rest of the year. Washington still has plenty of depth, but they will miss what he brings to the table. The offense has been solid for them this year, as AP has completely turned it around to revive his career. He has 604 rushing yards and four TD’s and has added an additional receiving TD. Alex Smith only has 9 TD passes, but only has three picks. He keeps it on point.

For Tampa Bay, their offense has been elite, as it ranks #7 in the league. On defense, they rank as #32 in points allowed. The defense has not been able to slow anybody down, and it shows in the way they play. They switched QB’s again from Jameis to Fitz, and he could not deliver for them last week. He brought them back into the game before failing to finish it.

Prediction: Alex Smith will lead Washington to this “upset.” Bet the +3.

Lions at Bears (-6.5)

At 3-5 so far this year, the Lions are not playing as well as they would have liked. There is a lot of room for them to improve, and that is something they have to do. Stafford needs to slow the interceptions down, and they need to just feed Kerryon so he can take off and run. With Golden Tate gone, it is more responsibility for Jones and Golladay. Matt Patricia’s team is #20 in points, and #23 in points allowed. Middle of the pack in both. Have to be better.

Chicago, on the other hand, is outscoring opponents by 10 points per game on average, as they have the fifth highest scoring offense and the fourth-best scoring defense. Mitchell Trubisky has improved tremendously from his first season, while Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen are doing enough damage on the ground to keep defenses guessing. Trey Burton, Taylor Gabriel, and Allen Robinson have all looked good here. So has KHALIL MACK, the best defensive player in the league.

Prediction: Bears all day. Bet the favorite.
