NFL Week 6 Predictions, Odds, Schedule for Every Game

  • How will Seattle fare without Russell Wilson?
  • Packers and Chicago face off in of the football’s greatest rivalries
  • Another chance for Dallas to show they are genuine contenders?

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-1) vs Philadelphia Eagles (2-3)

Schedule

  • Where: Lincoln Financial Field. Philadelphia, PA
  • When: Thursday, October 14, 8:20PM ET
  • How to watch: FOX

Odds

It’s hard to see this one being a close encounter, especially since Tampa Bay managed to shake off the Brady/Belichick circus with a convincing demolition of the Dolphins. Jalen Hurts has shown enough to suggest he can be competitive in most games with this offense, but nobody can run on this Bucs defense and that puts even more pressure on him.

The short week will also play into Brady’s hands due to his experience, and the Bucs will justify their heavy favorite tag with the win.

Predicted Winner: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Miami Dolphins (1-4) vs Jacksonville Jaguars (0-5)

Schedule

  • Where: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London, England
  • When: Sunday, October 17, 9:30AM ET
  • How to watch: CBS

Odds

Two dumpster fire teams in different ways just now. Jacksonville needs to make a decision on Urban Meyer soon as the speculation about the lack of respect from the players continues to grow, while it’s not like the results are going to save him either.

Miami may have Tua back at QB for this game as he’s touted to return from injury, but Brian Flores is also going to come under fire soon if they can’t turn this around.

The Jags are simply too much of a mess to win this one, but it might be an ugly W for the Dolphins to give them hope of getting this season back on track.

Predicted Winner: Miami Dolphins

Green Bay Packers (4-1) vs Chicago Bears (3-2)

Schedule

  • Where: Soldier Field, Chicago, IL
  • When: Sunday, October 17, 1:00PM ET
  • How to watch: FOX

Odds

Are the Bears the most disrespected team with a winning record just now? They’ve turned things over to Justin Fields for good and did get an impressive win over the Raiders in Week 5, while they could move on to the same record as the Packers with a win in this one.

The problem is that Aaron Rodgers appears to be back to his best and there’s no stopping this Green Bay offense, so the Packers will find a way to make it 5-1.

Predicted Winner: Green Bay Packers

Cincinnati Bengals (3-2) vs Detroit Lions (0-5)

Schedule

  • Where: Ford Field, Detroit, MI
  • When: Sunday, October 17, 1:00PM ET
  • How to watch: FOX

Odds

It’s easy to see this Bengals team finishing with a winning record this season, although it may be that they don’t quite win the games against the better teams, but they are too strong to be upset by the Lions.

That will depend on the health of Joe Burrow as he was shaken up on Sunday night, while the Lions do look like a team who have to be taken seriously as they are fighting for a win in every game.

Cincinnati will still have too much for them here.

Predicted Winner: Cincinnati Bengals

Houston Texans (1-4) vs Indianapolis Colts (1-4)

Schedule

  • Where: Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, IN
  • When: Sunday, October 17, 1:00PM ET
  • How to watch: CBS

Odds

This will be a battle of two 1-4 teams, but you still get the feeling that Indy are much better than the record suggests, while Houston deserve to be exactly where they are.

Davis Mills bounced back with a strong performance against the Patriots but it’s hard to tell how much of that was down to defensive breakdowns, while the Colts should’ve beaten the Ravens and managed to throw that away.

Predicted Winner: Indianapolis Colts

Kansas City Chiefs (2-3) vs Washington Football Team (2-3)

Schedule

  • Where: FedEx Field, Landover, MD
  • When: Sunday, October 17, 1:00PM ET
  • How to watch: CBS

Odds

All is not well in Kansas City, and it’s hard to see them going to the Super Bowl based on current form. The defense cannot stop a thing, while Patrick Mahomes has started to see some of his wayward throws being intercepted rather than broken up, and they just don’t have enough to keep up with how bad the defense is just now.

WFT aren’t exactly coming into this on a hot streak either as their highly touted defense is yet to show up, but if they can get things moving then they could really pile on the misery for Andy Reid and his team in Week 6.

Predicted Winner: Washington Football Team

Los Angeles Chargers (4-1) vs Baltimore Ravens (4-1)

Schedule

  • Where: M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore, MD
  • When: Sunday, October 17, 1:00PM ET
  • How to watch: CBS

Odds

How can you pick against this Ravens team just now? They’ve had every conceivable bit of bad luck in the injury department and should be having a down year, but they keep coming back from impossible positions to win.

The problem this week is the Chargers who are quickly becoming the new darlings of the league, and they should dethrone the Chiefs for the division title if things keep up.

This will be high scoring and probably close between two outstanding QB’s in great form, but Justin Herbert doesn’t need to carry the entire team like Jackson does, and that will make the difference here.

Predicted Winner: Los Angeles Chargers

Los Angeles Rams (4-1) vs New York Giants (1-4)

Schedule

  • Where: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ
  • When: Sunday, October 17, 1:00PM ET
  • How to watch: FOX

Odds

The Giants look set to struggle for another year, especially since Saquon Barkley picked up another injury and might not be ready for the Rams in this one.

Los Angeles are still figuring some things out on offense as Matt Stafford gets used to his new system and receivers, but there’s not a lot to like about the Giants just now and this one won’t even be close.

Predicted Winner: L.A rams

Minnesota Vikings (2-3) vs Carolina Panthers (3-2)

Schedule

  • Where: Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte, NC
  • When: Sunday, October 17, 1:00PM ET
  • How to watch: FOX

Odds

Things change very quickly in this league, and it’s very possible that Carolina will go from being an unbeaten team with playoff potential to a .500 team in double-quick speed.

The Panthers are building an incredible defense, but Stephon Gilmore won’t be eligible to play until Week 7 after his trade from the Patriots.

The Vikings only just squeaked past Detroit and they aren’t scoring a lot of points just now, so this looks like a chance for the Panthers to get themselves back on track.

Predicted Winner: Carolina Panthers

Arizona Cardinals (5-0) vs Cleveland Browns (3-2)

Schedule

  • Where: FirstEnergy Stadium, Cleveland, Ohio
  • When: Sunday, October 17, 4:05PM ET
  • How to watch: FOX

Odds

Arizona weren’t at their explosive best against San Francisco, but they are still 5-0 and they’ll fancy their chances of putting up points on Cleveland after they let 47 go against the Chargers.

Arizona’s defense is often overlooked because of how good Kyler Murray and his troops have been, but they do have enough to shut down this Browns offense too.

We may not see 80+ points in this one, but expect Arizona to keep on rolling.

Predicted Winner: Arizona Cardinals

Dallas Cowboys (4-1) vs New England Patriots (2-3)

Schedule

  • Where: Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, MA
  • When: Sunday, October 17, 4:25PM ET
  • How to watch: CBS

Odds

It’s often said that winning in New England can be a real litmus test for a potential contender, but that’s only if you look at the name rather than the current iteration of Bill Belichick’s team.

The Pats can’t stop the run or the pass, so Dallas have all the weapons to roll in here and put up a lot of points if they can get off to a fast start.

The only thing to be wary of is that this Pats defense did step up to limit Brady (with the help of some heavy rain) and they might do the same here.

The Cowboys should still emerge with the victory and leave New England 0-4 at home this season.

Predicted Winner: Dallas Cowboys

Las Vegas Raiders (3-2) vs Denver Broncos (3-2)

Schedule

  • Where: Empower Field at Mile High, Denver, CO
  • When: Sunday, October 17, 4:25PM ET
  • How to watch: CBS

Odds

If there is such a thing as a “back on track” game in the NFL then this is it for both teams, as they need to arrest their recent slide after a bright opening to their seasons.

The Raiders have looked poor on offense in their last two outings while the defense has given up too many points, and Denver should have enough at home to get their season back on track.

Predicted Winner: Denver Broncos

Seattle Seahawks (2-3) vs Pittsburgh Steelers (2-3)

Schedule

  • Where: Heinz Field, Pittsburgh, PA
  • When: Sunday, October 17, 8:20PM ET
  • How to watch: NBC

Odds

These are two names that we expect to see in the playoffs every year, but one of them is going to be 2-4 after Week 6 and that’s hard to bounce back from when they play in extremely competitive divisions.

Seattle will be without Russell Wilson so it will be fun to see what Geno Smith can do when a team has a chance to prepare for him, while Pittsburgh continues to underwhelm on offense but they do have a defense that can take over a game.

Seattle’s defense is also poor, and that gives the edge to the Steelers here.

Predicted Winner: Pittsburgh Steelers

Buffalo Bills (4-1) vs Tennessee Titans (3-2)

Schedule

  • Where: Nissan Stadium, Nashville, TN
  • When: Monday, October 18, 8:15PM ET
  • How to watch: ESPN

Odds

We all wondered if Buffalo’s status as early-season favorites was a massive error when they lost to the Steelers in Week 1, but they are back to their best on both sides of the ball and do look like the real deal yet again.

The Titans can never be counted out but they have been predictable when Julio Jones and A.J Brown were injured, but if they are able to return for this one then it opens up the playbook and makes this a more interesting game.

It may be a close one, but we can’t pick against Buffalo here.

Predicted Winner: Buffalo Bills
