Team News
It has been a strong start to the season for the Seattle Kraken, and there will be confidence within the team that they could finish in a playoff spot this term. They currently sit top of the Pacific Division, and third overall in the Western Conference standings.
The Kraken have won six of their previous ten, and have impressed on the road throughout the campaign. In total, they have lost just five in regulation away from Seattle, which is half the number of defeats that they have suffered in regulation at the Climate Pledge Arena.

The New York Islanders will play on back-to-back days as the NHL returns following the All-Star break. At present, they sit tenth in the Eastern Conference standings, and they have won just three of their previous ten. However, they did win back-to-back games before the break.
The Islanders have been more productive at home so far this season, as they have won 15 of the 26 games that they have played. However, it will be interesting to see the fatigue that the team will be carrying after Monday’s trip to the Philadelphia Flyers.
Picks
We find it hard to bet against the Kraken on Tuesday, as the Islanders will likely be carrying some tired players after Monday’s game in Philadelphia. But, it could be a tight game between the two sides.
