Paul Pogba Might Leave Man Utd for Juventus, His Manager Claims

Mino Raiola, one of the most powerful soccer agents in the world, stated last night that Paul Pogba would like to go back to Italy, and play for Juventus once again. It is not the first time that the Portuguese says something like this. Raiola already made his intentions about getting Pogba out of Manchester United public and is heavily criticizing the Red Devils over the recent year or so.

Pogba Likes Living in Italy

Raiola was attending the semifinals of Coppa Italia last night at San Siro, where AC Milan and Juventus clashed. The result of that match was 1-1, and Raiola saw his client and compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo scoring the equalizer in the last moments of the event.

After the game ended, he was approached by Fabrizio Romano, an Italian football journalist. In a short chat with him, Raiola again stated that Pogba liked the period when he played for the Old Lady, and that the life in Italy suits him very well.

“Pogba feels at home in Italy; Italy is like his second home or family, same feeling as [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic. That’s why Paul would like to come back to Juventus,” Raiola told the Italian.

The rumors about the French international’s comeback to Juve appeared some year and a half ago. Even with Joe Mourinho onboard, Pogba expressed his frustrations on several occasions, but everything settled once Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over the wheel.

However, after the opening successes, the Red Devils began struggling again, and the rumors about midfielder’s departure emerged to the surface.

Raiola explained that at the moment, there are no circumstances of negotiating such a deal, and that he and the player will talk about it with United’s board after the end of EURO 2020. Also, Pogba doesn’t want to flee from Trafford in the situation when the club isn’t doing well at all.
The Red Devils are trying to reach that fourth place in the standings and earn the Champions League ticket, thus avoiding to play in the Europa League for the second year in a row.

Solskjaer’s reserve plan in case his team fails to achieve the Premiership mission is to try to win the EL, and qualify for the UCL through this competition.

Real Also Eyeing Pogba

Apart from Juventus, who was in the combination for Pogba’s escape from Manchester right from the start, Real Madrid is also following the development of the situation.

Los Blancos are very keen on landing the French. Real’s coach Zinedine Zidane wants to add his countryman to the midfield, and make him a central piece of the puzzle, which would present the future of the team for the years to come.

According to some intel, United valued Pogba at more than $195 million, but as we all know, nothing presents a problem for Real one they set eyes on a player.

The French player has a contract with the Red Devils until the end of 2020/21 season, but the club has an option for another year, meaning that Pogba can stay there for two and a half years.
