Jon Rahm will be favored in the betting this weekend, as he looks to add to the victories that he has already recorded at The American Express and the Tournament of Champions in 2023. The Spanish star was once again in solid form last weekend, as he finished third, and just five shots off the lead in the Phoenix Open.
The event last weekend was won by Scottie Scheffler, who moved back to the top of the world rankings. It was a second straight victory in the Phoenix Open for the American, as he finished two shots clear of Canadian player Nick Taylor. However, he doesn’t boast the same dominant record around the Riviera Country Club.

It wasn’t the best weekend for Rory McIlroy in Arizona, as he could only finish in a tie for 32nd at the Phoenix Open. However, his form so far this year still makes him an incredibly attractive option in the betting this weekend. Justin Thomas also ticks boxes for this event. He finished fourth last weekend, and finished a shot off the lead back in 2019.
There will be a welcome sight this weekend, as Tiger Woods returns to the PGA Tour. The legendary star was last in official action when finishing 150th at The Open, and it’s fair to say he is deserving of a +10000 price this weekend, given that this is one of the few courses that Woods has never tasted victory at.

I’m happy to take on the top contenders this weekend, as there is a lot of value in the market. I will be siding with Viktor Hovland in California, as the Norwegian has finished in the top five on two previous appearances at the Genesis Invitational. His consistency is very appealing at +2500.
