Event Details

The RSM Classic has been a regular fixture on the PGA Tour since it was first introduced in 2010. It has been played in Georgia throughout its history, with 156 players competing across the weekend since 2015. The Seaside Course has a par 70 course, while the Plantation Course boasts a par 72 course. This stroke play event offers a purse of $8.1 million, with the winner picking up prize money of $1.4 million.

The tournament record score was matched last year by Talor Gooch, as the American finished -22 with an aggregate score of 260. That performance matched the result achieved by Kevin Kisner in 2015.

All the attention this weekend will be on Tony Finau, who was an impressive winner of the Houston Open last weekend. He finished four shots clear to claim victory in the PGA Tour event, and he looks a solid favorite to claim a second straight victory this weekend.

Brian Harman was in excellent form on his previous effort on the PGA Tour, as he finished second in the WTT Championship. Joel Dahmen finished third in that same event, and he should go closer again this weekend after finishing in the top ten at the Houston Open last weekend. Seamus Power should also be well-positioned to go close after finishing in the top ten in his previous two events.

RSM Classic Predictions

Tony Finau looks like a solid chance this weekend if he can maintain the form he showed last weekend. However, a chance will be taken on Mackenzie Hughes. The Canadian won this event in 2016 and impressed once again last year to finish second.
