Game Preview

Bournemouth was thrashed 3-0 by Aston Villa in their last Premier League outing and find themselves staring relegation in the face late in the season. Dominic Solanke, without a goal in 10 games now, wasted the Cherries’ best opportunity to score, fluffing his shot when clean through on goal. The only positive for Bournemouth was the return to action of David Brooks following a 534-day lay-off after receiving a cancer diagnosis.

Fulham was put to the sword by high-flying Arsenal in their last Premier League encounter prior to the international break. In a one-sided affair, Marco Silva’s side fell well short of the standards they have shown for much of this season and are now in danger of fading out of European contention. Fulham will be without Aleksandar Mitrovic and Willian following their dismissals in the Cottagers’ F.A. Cup clash with Man United. Carlos Vinicius is likely to get the nod up front to replace their star man.

There will never be a better time for Bournemouth to play Fulham, with key men missing and their manager under a touchline ban also it is set up for the Cherries to capitalize on their absence and grab a vital 3 points here.
