Game Preview
Brighton’s 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace sealed Eagles’ manager Patrick Viera’s fate and maintained the Seagull’s status as the Premier League’s dark horses for a Champions League spot. Roberto De Zerbi was able to rest Adam Webster and Evan Ferguson for the majority of the contest and, barring any injuries in the international break, will have a fully fit squad to choose from here.

Brentford will be without midfielder Shandon Baptiste for the game against Brighton after his red card in the Bees’ 1-1 draw with Leicester. Mathias Jensen had put Brentford ahead in the first half, but Harvey Barnes’ 52nd-minute equalizer ensured the spoils were shared at the end of the game.
Prediction
These two teams have both performed well above expectations in the league this season and it could be hard to separate them here. We think Brighton at home has just enough of an edge to come out on top by the odd goal though.
