Unconvincing PSG

We are a bit unsure whether PSG plays just to get to work done, or they really can’t do any better than this. One week they look like a mediocre team, without any spark of life upfront, and a few days later, they perform superbly, rolling over the rivals. 

Why they have such oscillations is a massive enigma for us. Some suggest that it might be because of Mauricio Pochettino, who isn’t worthy of leading the Saints. Also, the chemistry between Messi and Mbappe is not at a high level, and that is obvious, which is, too, a reason for the inconsistency.

Despite all that, PSG posts solid results, and they are pushing well on all fronts. They are topping the French league advanced from the UCL group stage, etc. Their record in the last ten games is seven wins, two draws, and a loss.

Struggles With Benzema

The French international is the best player of Los Blancos despite having 34 years. His output is even better as time goes by, and Benzema imposed himself as the indispensable part of the starting lineup. That’s why Real slowed down when he picked up an injury, not keeping the consistency upfront. 

Benzema delivered 24 goals in 28 games this year, and that tells enough about his influence. Vinicius is pretty much useless without him, Luka Jovic can’t adapt, and others aren’t playing at the same position as the Frenchman. The latest sources are saying that he should play in Paris, but his fitness is questionable.

Los Blancos have only one victory in the past four games, not scoring on two occasions during that stretch. And that is all because of Benzema’s absence. Three of their most recent events ended with under 1.5 goals and just one team netting.
