One of the biggest pay-per-views of the year takes place this Sunday live from the WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. Money in the Bank is one of the most exciting PPV’s of the year for WWE fans as there is a feeling that anything can happen. And, that would more especially the case this year as both men’s and women’s matches will be taking place at the same time inside the headquarters.
The matches are must-see, with the briefcases hanging high above the ring on the roof at the headquarters. There are also a number of title matches, but the two Money in the Bank ladder matches are the matches that will excite the fans the most. But, who are the favourites to win the biggest matches?
- When: Sunday 10th May
- Where: WWE Headquarters
- How To Watch: WWE Network
Men’s WWE Money in the Bank Odds & Prediction
The odds for the men’s Money in the Bank match have changed over the past week or so due to the fact that AJ Styles has now entered the match. Styles hadn’t been seen by WWE fans since losing to the Undertaker at WrestleMania. The Phenomenal one is now the heavy favourite to win the match, and it would very hard to argue against him winning.
Black had been the heavy favourite before Styles was added, and there will still be intrigue regarding the Dutchman. Interestingly, the biggest market mover over the past two weeks has been Otis. He started at an opening price of +800, but that has been slashed. It would hard to see Otis winning the briefcase however, as he is more of a comedy character than a serious title challenger. The astute money would be on Black, but fans would be happy for any of these superstars to win the contract.
Women’s WWE Money in the Bank Odds & Prediction
The women’s Money in the Bank ladder match promises to be one of the most exciting matches of the year so far. There are so many different elements that fans are intrigued with, as there is no one stand out contender. Baszler is the heavy favourite, but there will also be interest in Nia Jax and Asuka.
The SmackDown superstars may be ruled out of this one, with fans anticipating the SummerSlam bout between Bayley and Sasha Banks for the gold. There are reasons for Baszler, Jax and Asuka to win the contract, and fans wouldn’t displeased to see any of them win. However, the one superstar that desperately needs the win is the market favourite. There would be concern surrounding where Baszler goes should she not win the contract, and that means that she will be claiming the contract on Sunday.
