The 27th round of Bundesliga brings an interesting match, which is a bit pushed aside when talking about the media hype. Wolfsburg meets Borussia Dortmund, and both sides need to win in order to stay in the combination for fulfilling their objectives. For Wolves, that is to keep the sixth position, which leads to the European competitions, and for the Millionaires to keep on hunting Bayern Munich and the tops spot in the standings. Knowing all this we can expect a war at the Volkswagen Arena,

Wolves Chasing Europe
After beating Augsburg on the road last week, Wolfsburg seized the place, which leads to the international stage. However, they need to keep on producing good results in order to keep it. Freiburg and Schalke are just two points away and be sure that these two sides also have their math when it comes to capturing that sixth position.
The game against Augsburg was pretty intense, with both teams having a chance to win. Yet, Daniel Ginczek’s score in the stoppage time made it possible for the guests in that one to go home with all three points.
Wolfsburg didn’t lose in the last four events at home, but we can’t say that they post some special results at home. In 13 matches, they have only four wins, with six draws and three losses, and a goal difference of 16-13.
Joshua Guilavogui, Mamoudou Karamoko, William, and Yannick Gerhardt are all injured for this one.
Borussia Still Hoping to Win the Title
The Millionaires are four points away from Bayern Munich in the standings and if weren’t for some, let’s say, pretty ridiculous results Lucien Favre’s side would be on the top of the table. They have a chance to erase everything, as Bayern comes to Dortmund next week.
But first, they need to win this one and to keep the distance between them and the champs the same as now, or even decrease it.
Borussia rolled over Schalke in the previous round, smashing the great rival with 4-0, and boosting the morale of its players and fans. Just to remind you, it was a Ruhr Derby, arguably the most intense one in entire Germany, with two clubs who have a massive rivalry between themselves.
The team from Dortmund has several big names injured for this match. Axel Witsel Dan-Axel Zagadou, Emre Can, Nico Schulz, and Marco Reus.
With the way Borussia plays, goals in their matches are guaranteed. And that is not only including them to score but the rivals as well. Favre’s team is not very tactical when it comes to keeping the result or trying to get one. It is instead attacking all the time, which opens up a space in the back often used by the opponents. That is why over 2.5 goals and both teams to score would be our choice here. Moneyline for that is -105
