One of the most exciting events on the WWE calendar takes place this weekend, as Hell in a Cell takes place from the Amway Center in Orlando. Like all the events that have been taking place in the WWE over the past couple of months, it will take place inside the Thunderdome, with fans in attendance virtually. But, which wrestlers should gamblers be betting on to get the win in some of the biggest matches?
When: Sunday 25th October 2020
Where: Amway Center, Orlando
How To Watch: WWE Network
WWE Championship: Drew McIntyre vs Randy Orton
This will be the third and final time that we see these two superstars go toe-to-toe, and the odds would suggest that it will be another win for the reigning WWE Champion. McIntyre has won the last two matches against Orton, with their most recent match coming at the Clash of Champions PPV. In that match, McIntyre had the help of Shawn Michaels, Christian and the Big Show to get the win, but this time the Scot will need to do it all by himself inside Hell in a Cell.
This rivalry feels as though it has run its course, and it’s time that McIntyre now moves onto a fresh challenger. It is unclear whether that will be a Raw superstars at present, or whether the WWE will now look ahead to building a champion vs champion match at Survivor Series.
WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship: Bayley vs Sasha Banks
This will be the match that all the fans will be looking forward to, as it has been one of the best longer-term storytelling rivalries of the year. Banks and Bayley were once best friends, and held the tag team championships just a couple of months ago. At that point, they held all the gold, with Banks being the Raw Women’s Championship. However, when Banks lost that title to Asuka, the tension between the two friends began to build.
It finally reached breaking point after they lost the tag team championships, with Bayley ruthlessly attacking Banks. Since then, the two have been going back and forth, and it has made for the most entertaining segments on weekly television. This will be the first of a number of matches between the two superstars, and on this occasion the champion will retain.
WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns vs Jey Uso
For the first time ever there will be an ‘I Quit’ match inside the cell. However, there isn’t much question about the superstar that will be walking away with the title in this match. Roman Reigns is the biggest star in the company at present, and his stock has never been higher since aligning with Paul Heyman. Reigns defeated Uso just last month, and there was a clear gulf in class between the two superstars. This will be another ruthless example of his dominance by the Tribal Chief.
