Game Preview

The Guardians started off well in the first quarter with six points, but they ended up losing to the Roughnecks and scored just six points over the next three-quarters of the game.

Paxton Lynch threw for 125 yards with one score and one interception before being benched for Quinten Dormady, who threw for one score and two picks with throwing for 142 yards.

Guardians WR Andrew Jamiel had a decent outing with three grabs for 80 yards and a 51-yard touchdown.

Former NFL WR Cody Latimer also played well, catching five balls for 68 yards and a score in the loss.

Former college star QB Jack Coan got the start for the Brahmas and threw for 207 yards with one score and one interception.

Ex-NFL RB Kalen Ballage carried the load with 24 carries for 84 yards, but the Battlehawks scored two touchdowns in the final minutes to stun San Antonio at home.

Prediction

Both of these offenses disappointed in Week 1, although nobody was a bigger flop than former NFL QB Paxton Lynch. The Guardians might not want to play him again, and the offense for Orlando needs some kind of boost.

The Brahmas played well before a late collapse against St. Luis, and they were just a few plays away from getting the victory. Jack Coan plays well again and Kalen Ballage runs well as the Brahmas get the win on the road.
