The Sea Dragons scored nine points in the first and third quarters, but nothing in the second or fourth, and lost to the Defenders, 22-18.

Ben DiNucci was off and on, throwing for 282 yards with one score and a pair of interceptions. Josh Gordon played well with six catches for 74 yards and a touchdown.

However, it was Jahcour Pearson who exploded with 12 catches for 95 yards to lead Seattle in both categories.

However, an 18-8 Sea Dragons lead was erased after a pick-six and a scoreless fourth quarter as the defenders got the win.

Prediction

The Sea Dragons struggled a little bit offensively in their Week 1 game, although the wide receivers showed that they can play well. The Battlehawks got a solid performance from AJ McCarron, and they figured it out late to get a thrilling win in San Antonio.

However, the Sea Dragons crowd should be full and loud on Thursday night, and Ben DiNucci responds and gets a close win at home.
