Game Preview

The Brahmas lost to the Houston Roughnecks, although they put up a fight and lost to the best team in the XFL. The Brahmas are now 1-2 on the year, and while the defense held Houston scoreless in the first half, the offense needs to pick things up.

Wide receiver Jontre Kirklin was a bright spot, finishing the game with 77 yards and two scores in the loss.

The Ben DiNucci-Josh Gordon has been sensational to start the year. The Sea Dragons barely defeated the winless Vegas Vipers, 30-26. With the game on the line, DiNucci hit Gordon for the touchdown.

DiNucci finished the game with 377 yards and four scores, and Gordon has a pair of touchdowns and 118 receiving yards in the thrilling finish.

Prediction

The Brahmas played well against Houston, but the Sea Dragons’ offense has been one of the best in the XFL and the DiNucci-Gordon pairing doesn’t look to be going away anytime soon. This could be a high-scoring affair, especially after Seattle gave up 26 points to Vegas, but the Sea Dragons escape with a close win on another late score.
