XFL Week 4: Vegas vs DC Prediction, Odds, and Picks (Mar 12)

  • Vegas heads to DC to face the Defenders in Week 4.
  • The Vipers have yet to win a game and lost a heartbreaker to Seattle.
  • The Defenders are undefeated and running away in the North.

The Vipers seemed to be in control until Josh Gordon went back to his NFL days with a game-winning 65-yard touchdown, and the Vipers remain winless.

The Defenders won a tight game against the St. Louis Battlehawks as they remain undefeated and are on a crash course to face the Houston Roughnecks in the finals.

Game Preview

The Defenders’ two-QB system of Jordan Ta’amu and D’Eriq King worked once against as both of them threw touchdown passes.

The DC defense continues to be one of the best in the XFL. They recorded four sacks and two more interceptions, including another pick-six early in the game to set the tone.

Jordan Ta’amu has responded after some early-season struggles, and he added another score on the ground with his legs as DC clearly looks like the best team in the North.

The Vipers still haven’t won a game, and they were very close against the Sea Dragons. Oddly enough, these two teams made a trade, with Vegas sending OL Antonio Garcia and DC sending DB Joshua Allen to the Vipers.

Vegas leads the XFL in tackles with 171, and the offense clicked more than it had the first few games despite losing to the Sea Dragons.

Prediction

The Vipers are 0-3, but they are improving over the last couple of weeks and flashed promise against Seattle. However, the Defenders look like one of the best teams (if not the best) team in the XFL, and they get a win at home against Vegas as the Vipers drop to 0-4.
