How Does The Solheim Cup Work?
Just like the Ryder Cup, the Solheim Cup will pit the teams of Europe and the USA against each other across three days of action.
The opening day consists of four foursomes in the morning session and four fourball matches in the afternoon. Saturday’s action features four foursomes matches in the morning, before four fourball clashes are set for the afternoon.
Finally, the final day will feature 12 singles matches, with all players involved in action. In total, a total of 28 points are up for grabs at the Solheim Cup, with 14.5 being required to win the Cup. The holders (USA) will require just 14 points to retain the honor.

Solheim Cup 2026 Teams
Europe will be led into the 2026 Solheim Cup by Anna Nordqvist, who was previously the vice-captain for the 2023 and 2024 editions.

Solheim Cup 2026 Information
The 2026 Solheim Cup will be played at Bernardus Golf in Cormvoirt, Netherlands. It is the first time that the course has played host to the event, having previously held the Dutch Open on the DP World Tour between 2021 and 2023.
This year’s event will get underway on Friday, September 11, 2026. All action throughout the weekend will be broadcast live on NBC, with a dedicated stream also available on GolfChannel.com.
