The attention quickly switches back to the playoff race on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule at the start of August, as the Iowa Corn 350 is the first race following the In-Season Challenge. Drivers will complete a total of 350 laps to make up the race distance, with Team Penske and Hendrick Motorsports being the most successful teams in the race’s history.
Denny Hamlin remains the pace setter in the Drivers’ Championship, having shown his consistency throughout the In-Season Challenge with three top-five finishes. In contrast, Tyler Reddick will require a return to form after finishing in the top ten in just two of the last six rounds.
