Game Preview
The Cs lost to the No.1 seed in the West, the OKC Thunder, at the Paycom Center, 105-92. Their potent offense couldn’t overcome OKC’s harsh defense, which ranks No.1 in the NBA. That’s why we saw Boston under 100 points for the first time after a while.
This is odd because the Celtics score 119.3 points per game, the fourth-most in the league. They are No.1 in three-point attempts (50.3) and No.1 in three-points made (18.7)
The Nuggets are playing better now than one month ago. They are 4-1 in the past five events, losing to the Spurs and getting even with Wemby and the boys right away. They beat them in San Antonio, 122-111 OT, with Nikola Jokic scoring 46 points.
The Joker again posts unreal numbers and is the No.1 contender for winning the NBA MVP award. He is second in points per game -31.5, third in boards per game -13, and second in assists – 9.7. So, he is near a triple-double average yet again.
