Jamal Murray showed his talent. He had 43 points, 7 assists, and 5 boards, shooting 8-for-14 from three-point territory. It’s safe to say that he single-handedly trashed the Clippers. Nikola Jokic had a slow night: 13 points, 12 assists, and 10 boards. He was slow, but he still recorded a triple-double, so imagine how good he is when these stats are poor for him.
The Nuggets’ bench was there to help, and we mean Russell Westbrook, who was on fire with 21 points. Aaron Gordon had another good performance with 23 points.
LA Clippers did slow down Jokic with Harden guarding him, but that opened space for Murray, who was unguardable for the team from California. The Beard himself had a poor night, 11 points and eight boards.
