Game Preview

The Heat plays without its biggest star, Tyler Herro, and without the arrested Terry Rozier. Additionally, young rookie guard Kaspars Jakucionis is out as well, which narrows their backcourt rotation.

They already had one road game before this, which was in San Antonio, where they lost 107-101. Bam Adebayo gave his best, posting 31 points and 10 rebounds, including a dunk over Wemby. Andrew Wiggins had 24 points, yet apart from Simone Fontecchio, who contributed 18 points off the bench, there weren’t any other notable contributors for the Heat.

The LA Lakers had back-to-back games on the road, three in the past 4, and they’ve won each one. After beating the Minnesota Timberwolves in Minneapolis, 116-115, they cruised through Memphis and won against the Grizzlies, 117-112.

Austin Reaves got help, as Luka took over the scoring duties, delivering 44 buckets and 12 boards. Reaves had 21 points. Jake LaRavia continued with his solid performances, dropping 13 points off the bench.

Heat vs. Lakers Head to Head

Last year, both teams won at home: the Lakers 117-108, the Heat 134-93.

Heat vs. Lakers Predictions

The Lakers are in excellent shape, and their guards are playing extremely well. When we add that Miami has problems with absent backcourt players, and that they travel through the West, it’s easy to conclude that picking the LA Lakers to win is the best choice here.
