What a summer for Philadelphia. They not only signed LeBron, but Jaylen Brown too, forming not a super team, but an ultra-team. They have the highest star power of any unit in the NBA, and now everything is on Nick Nurse to fit it all together.
The Sixers lost all three preseason games, but they used them to help the players get to know one another better. We don’t have much to say about this team, because their individual quality is the best in the NBA.
Now, when reading all this, many would think that the Knicks enter this one as the NBA underdog. But the reality is different, and the champs are solid favorites to win.
They didn’t change the team’s core at all, losing only Mitchell Robinson and signing veteran center Andre Drummond, who played in Philly. Drummond was solid in NYK’s win over the Raptors, 122-120, in the last preseason game, scoring 14 points in 15 minutes with 8 boards and 4 assists.
