UConn ()

The Huskies have slid since their domination over the sport in the mid-2010s, earning a 2-seed last season, and losing in the Sweet 16. That being said, they are still set up great for this year, with superstar Page Bueckers returning from injury.

Iowa ()

Iowa will once again be the Caitlin Clark story in 2023-24. Considered by most to be the sport’s best athlete, Clark returns to Iowa for her senior year. That alone with push the Hawkeyes to the top, but they don’t have as deep a roster as others.

LSU ()

LSU won their first title last season, thanks to a tremendous run. Head coach Kim Mulkey will have another stellar squad this year. Star Angel Reese returns, and they gained huge transfers in Hailey Van Lith and Aneesah Morrow. They may repeat.

South Carolina ()

South Carolina had perhaps the biggest fall of last season’s top teams, losing the most key assets to the NBA Draft. Overcoming the loss of Aliyah Boston won’t be easy, but the Gamecocks 71-3 record over the past two seasons still matters.
