Game Preview
Celtics are on fire. Four games, four wins, that’s the record of the champs so far. Jayson Tatum leads the way in scoring with 28.5 points per game, while Jaylen Brown adds 26, though with 7.8 boards, one more than Tatum.
Derrick White also became a scoring force, with 18.3 points, two more than Payton Pritchard. The Cs’ last victory was against the Milwaukee Bucks, whom they defeated 119-108.
Indiana opened the year with a victory, but after that, they had three straight losses. The previous two were against the 76ers at home, 118-114 after OT, and on the road in Orlando, 119-115.
They collapsed in the final period, scoring just 17 points, nine fewer than the hosts. Pascal Siakam had 26 points and nine boards, Haliburton scored 19, had nine assists, and was one board short of a triple-double. Overall, six Pacers’ players had 10+ points.
Celtics vs. Pacers Head-to-Head
Last year, it was 3-2 for the Cs in the regular season and 4-0 in the playoffs once they obliterated the Pacers in the East Finals.
Celtics vs. Pacers Prediction
Boston was more than confident in these four matches. Indiana didn’t deserve a negative record, with two games narrowly. Still, the final decision is to pick the guests to continue their winning spree.
